Red cabbage hummous

Makes a lot!

vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, gluten free


250g shredded red cabbage
olive oil
1 heaped tbsp tahini
2 garlic cloves minced
juice of 1½ lemons
400g tin of chickpeas rinsed and drained


I didn't change anything from the original directions, so head over to for the how to.

We ate ours warmed through on toast, and also as a dip with raw carrots.

This recipe tastes even better made with vegetables from Community Harvest Whetstone :)
