Involvement in Transition Leicester / Community Harvest Whetstone:
Since mid 2009 I have been involved with the Community Harvest Whetstone project, originally hearing about it from my friend Dani. Being keenly interested in evironmental issues, I signed up!!
I mainly help with communication tasks such as taking minutes at committee meetings, composing newsletters, price finding and updating the Facebook page & CHW Website. I like to get to community days and events when I can, though alas I often miss them due to working weekends. Favourite CHW grown Vegetable: Cauliflower. Yum!
Other interests: Gay, Eco-socialist, Christian, who loves cooking, travelling, camping, youth hostelling, walking, and spends far too long in his garden when the weather is nice! |
